Dr. Erick G. Pryor is an author, educator, and pastor. He is the son of the late Edward G. Pryor and Veronica Pryor. As a military child, he traveled the world spending fifteen of his formative years in Germany, Japan, and Spain. He came to Greensboro, North Carolina to attend North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where he graduated with degrees in Chemical Engineering. Due to his aspirations to be an educator, he also earned degrees in education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. In September of 2000, Dr. Pryor became a member of New Jerusalem Cathedral, where he served under his Bishop, Dr. Kevin A. Williams.
Dr. Pryor was ordained as a reverend with New Jerusalem Cathedral in July of 2003. He was later ordained as an elder by Bishop Williams during an anointing service in November of 2010. His ordination as an elder was first for New Jerusalem Churches of Sound Doctrine. He proudly served in this capacity to enrich and undergird Bishop Kevin A. Williams and the membership of New Jerusalem Churches of Sound Doctrine until called upon to plant the Winston-Salem Campus of New Jerusalem Cathedral in October of 2016.
Pastor Erick Pryor is a teacher by nature. He is a man of God that loves teaching the word of God. Through his leadership he teaches how to know the word for yourself which is an important and necessary part of developing a relationship with God and following the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Dr. Erick G. Pryor is married to LaToya Smith Pryor and they have two boys, Erick, Jr. and Emmanuel.
